Client Relations and Sales.

Completes and records accurate documentation on large transactions.

My responsibilities at HomeGoods were similar to what I would perform at Walmart, however the compensation was more coupled with a better work environment. I was able to be more of a sales associate as well. I would be able to help customers find their products and also work the register and help customers with their purchases. I developed an excellent relationship with my supervisors and I would even come in on my off days just to help around the store. They created a very family oriented environment and I was able to thrive in that situation.

Specific Duties Include:

Greeting and serving customers as they enter the store. Advising and assisting customers. Handling complaints or forwarding serious issues to the manager on duty. Conducting customer transactions. Replenishing the supply of stock on the shelves. Assisting with store deliveries.

Camp Coach / Oklahoma Christian University

I was responsible for coaching and training a youth basketball team at our basketball camp. I also had to interact with the kids while also helping mentor them.

It was good because the kids looked up to me since I was a college basketball player. I also was responsible to help set up drills and games. At the end of each day, I would have to help clean up the gym.

Proficient in motivating players, conducting practice sessions and instructing players in game strategies. Performed and taught game strategies to young athletes. Summer job while I was in college finishing up my Bachelor’s degree. I generally would work the morning shift, so I had the responsibility to open the camp. I had to make sure all the lights work, A/C is running, the rooms are cleaned and prepare for the opening ceremony. I also had to supervise multiple kids while also running a camp. At times I would have to close, I would be responsible for not only cleaning up my area, but also the whole camp. I would have to clean the classrooms and bathrooms.
