Dear hiring manager/HR manager,

I would really appreciate the opportunity to interview for a position with your company. If you’ve had time to review my resume hopefully you can see that I have a very diverse background in several different fields. I’m enthusiastic, hard working and I am always willing to go the extra mile to get the job done. I pride myself on the ability to pick up and learn any job with minimal training.

Some of my strengths are that I am reliable, flexible, friendly, punctual, I pay close attention to detail, I’m very disciplined and trustworthy. I’m honest and a dedicated worker. I absolutely love coming to work every day. It is a very extremely rare occasion that I would have to call off. I enjoy being around people and accomplishing goals. I also like helping others. Some of my weaknesses would include public speaking which I am working to overcome. I am a little bit self-critical and I push myself to the limit sometimes when it comes to getting deadlines met. I may not be up on all the latest software programs however I am positive that I can learn them quickly and efficiently. A little about me; I am a mother of six children, 4 adopted and 2 biological. My kids are extremely good and well behaved. I homeschool all six children with help from my mother my sister and my little brother who all live within a mile or two of my house. We are close knit family. My little brother always volunteers to take my children to the doctor or the dentist when they need to go so that I don’t have to miss work for that. That is a blessing. I pride myself in being on time and showing up every day. I also don’t mind working overtime if needed. Coming in early or staying late. Currently working but looking for my forever career. I’m self-motivated and a people pleaser who likes to get my job done and feel accomplished every day. I’ve decided to apply with your client because it seems like such a great fit for me. Plus, I know that they care about the employees like family and take care of them. I’ve done my research about the company and employees and I am really excited to learn more.

Again, thank you for the opportunity to interview and if there’s anything more that I can do to secure the position please let me know.

Sincerely,

Amanda Agee-Jackson
