Instituted formal, statistically-based forecasting and budgeting methodology. Beginning with management’s strategic plan generated sales forecast, then assisted sales department in drafting the sales budget, the Plant Manager in formulating the production budget, and assisted department heads in tactical planning and framing their operating expense budgets. Also constructed the capital budget, cash flow budget, master budget and pro forma financial statements. Finally, performed budget variance analyses and helped management in fashioning corrective actions.
