Experience:

2011 – 2022: Chief Financial Officer, Orrex Plastics Company, Odessa, Texas. Responsible for all accounting and finance activities for plastic extrusion company, including human resources and office managers. Presentation of monthly and yearly operating results to partners and management team.

Supervision of accountants and office staff in accounting activities. Administration of benefits including 401(k) program. Special emphasis on training and mentoring accounting and human resources staff.

2008 – 2011: Controller, Ultra Premium Oilfield Services, Odessa, Texas. Responsible for accounting activities for three oilfield services and steel manufacturing plants in Texas and Pennsylvania. Activities included budgeting and forecasting, project management for new facilities, as well as all general accounting activities. Monthly presentation of operating results to senior management teams. Direct supervision of staff accountants and administrative assistants.

1992 – 2001 – Area Business Manager for Mt. Pleasant division with Southwestern Electric Power Company, Shreveport, Louisiana. Responsible for business operations of three local offices including supervision of office employees, meter readers, marketing personnel and servicemen. Special emphasis on customer service, legislative affairs and community involvement. Additional duties included representing company in various community activities, administering $300,000 yearly operating and contributions budgets, presentations to community on matters of importance to utility industry and providing assistance with economic development affairs.

1981 – 1992: Accountant I, II, III: Southwestern Electric Power Company, Shreveport, La. Responsible for preparation of utility rate case documents to support testimony before Public Utility Commission. Preparation of budgets and forecasting documents, general ledger and fixed asset accounting.
