Worked in the Supreme Court Criminal Division Typing Pool. Typed Briefs, Motions and other Court Documents as required. Asst. Court Analyst to Chief Court Attorney Criminal Court: Carrying out Administrative Assistant duties, handling various projects delegated to me. Filing, Typing, Answering Phones. Transmitting Judges Opinions and Decisions via computer to Westlaw Database. Keeping Court Attorney Time Sheets and forwarding them to the Time and Leave Unit.

Legal Secretary. Typed Briefs, Wills, Motions, other Legal Documents and Correspondence. Was Responsible for Ordering Supplies, handled calls and made appointments. Unfortunately, the Office closed due to the passing of Mr. Schwartz.

1978-1983 • United Nations:

Worked as Secretary in The Center Against Aparthied. Secretarial Duties. Assigned Secretary to the Delegation sent to The Martin Luther King Celebrations in Atlanta. The Center is no longer operational.

1976-1978 • LEGAL AID SOCIETY:

Worked as a Secretary for this Organization.

EDUCATION:

• My Education is Based on a British Curriculum as Both St. Lucia and Trinidad and Tobago, in which I resided, were British Colonies at the time. In St. Lucia I went to St. Joseph’s Convent from age six and in Trinidad and Tobago from age 13 until age 16. I achieved a Cambridge School Certificate Grade III with a Distinction in Literature and Scripture. The results of this exam were determined in England. After that I attended St. Mary’s Secretarial College for a Year and then went out into the working World.

• I played basketball at St. Joseph’s Convent and Field Hockey at St. Mary’s Secretarial College.
