Supervise Inmates, Corporals, and Officers. Insuring Safety and Security of Facility.
Responsible for day-to-day oversight for a maximum inmate count of up to approximately 60 male/female inmates at the Colville Correctional Facility. While on shift my responsibilities include: Supervising up to 4 officers 1 corporal. Completing training for the officers on day to day items such as Booking Inmate on Spillman Software, Cell checks, Inmate Interaction, Facility Policy and Procedure and Restraint Chair. I planned and executed Cell Extractions. I maintained and updated the Tribal Inmate Head count website. For new inmates I insured bookings are complete, new pictures are taken and all warrants are faxed to correct locations. I maintained a professional demeanor when dealing with inmates or public.
During my time at Corrections I was Transport Officer, Medical Officer, Trustee Officer.
As Transport officer I conducted and planned all court transports. Including Extraditions
As Medical Officer: I conducted and planned all Medical Transports. Managed medications. Filled and updated medications as per the I.H.S medical Staff.
As Trustee Officer: I oversaw trustee day-to-day actions. Planned offsite details with Inmates. Conducted weekly trustee meetings to keep apprised of any problems or issues.
