You need someone immediately. I’m available now.
To save you the time of reading a long-winded resume, following are a few quick points to illustrate the scope of my career history and professional competencies:
I’m a little older (and wiser) than most of your job applicants, but I’m physically capable of doing most things and I have a motor that won’t quit.
I know how to deal with people from working as an auto service writer at Walmart. Yes Walmart, famous for their wide range of characters, I mean customers.
I have experience operating almost any type of equipment from small (pressure washers, chainsaws, etc.) to medium (fork lifts, front loaders, etc.) to large (dump trucks, farming combines, etc.).
I have worked in construction for most of my adult life, giving me a high degree of experience working with most materials as well as associated tools for each. Much of my experience lies in renovation. I have worked as a supervisor, being placed in charge of helping keep others on track during larger jobs, delegating certain tasks and responsibilities to me in order to ensure the job stayed on track and I was always able to adapt to new orders and plans without delay.
I also have experience overseeing some roofing projects. I was responsible for the supervision and performance of the project while in production and also the cleanup and punch out. Climbing ladders and standing on roofs is no problem.
I understand how businesses run: My job is to make your job easier. If you hire someone who makes your job harder, you don’t need them. I’m a quick learner. I don’t need to have supervision. I’m dependable.
Thank you for taking the time to consider my application. If you have any questions regarding my qualifications or skills, please don't hesitate to ask. I look forward to learning more about your business and the work that needs to be done.
Sincerely,
Don Dixon
