Design and release of automotive seating mechanisms. Processes included, stamping, forging, broaching, fine blanking, progressive dies, powdered metals, heat treating. Mechanism was too costly per OEM direction, proposed that the cams be produced from powered metal. This resulted in a $0.25 cost saving per mechanism.
