Resource Specialist

Prior to Arroyo Elementary which is a small school climate, I’ve also served as a resource specialist in the largest elementary school in Simi Valley. Collaboration with general education and special education in the planning, organization, and implementation of accommodating and modifying curriculum which serves all students in a successful inclusive model, with an emphasis in specialized academic instruction.

Understanding Dyslexia: Assessment and Intervention

Effectively sit on Student Study Team and help implement the response to intervention

(RTI) using a 3-tier school-wide intervention model. This supports school-wide intervention programs for risk populations, which, in turn has increased student achievement. Our overall API score has shown significant growth
