AUTOMOTIVE PLASTIC DESIGN - CATIA

Coin holder design:

• The CAD part is fully modified and made it as a perfect class A surface.

• The resulted surface is undergone by bisecting method to find the tooling axis for manufacturing process

• With the tooling axis, the draft analysis is done to check the feasibility of manufacturing of the part with the class a surface with all necessity conditions is cleared do the class b surface, c surface, and make as the closed part body Switch bezel design:

• The CAD component was created to be a perfect class A surface. The final class A surface is also constructed using the moment of inertia method to identify the class A midpoint and the tooling axis.

• I used the sweep command to create the B and C surfaces, then checked and assured that there were no boundaries inside the surface before solidifying the body with the closed body command in CATIA. Car bumper design:

• The irregular class A surface was corrected into a perfect class A and fixed a point normal to the surface.

• By using line command, the tooling axis for manufacturing process was created. Then the draft analysis is done to check the feasibility of manufacturing of the part

• The body was closed with the perfect trim of class B and C surface with correct draft angle of industry standards. AUTOMOTIVE SHEETMETAL DESIGN - CATIA

Design and develop Hood and its respective components

• Design Hood outer panel, inner panel, necessary reinforcements from the Master section, and design parameters.

• Taken consideration of passenger safety and pedestrian safety measures at the time of Crash.

• Assembly of Hood inner panel, outer panel, latch, hinge, and reinforcements. Design of Car Roof:

• Designed the Sunroof with Front & Rear Roof Rail, Bow Roof, Centre Bow Roof & Reinforcement.

• By Following Heat Distortion and Snow Load Prediction Criteria Based on the OEM Standard.

• Also, the Roof has been subjected to Draft Analysis to Check the Manufacturability. Design of Car Backdoor:

• Designed the Inner Panel with Embosses, Outer Panel, Hinge & Gas Stay Reinforcement, Wiper Mounting, Latch &Striker is created by following the trajectory which Based on the OEM Standard. Also, the Model has been Subjected to draft analysis to check the manufacturability.

Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing:

• Done and analyzed the all-tolerance shape and basic stack-up analysis of a part

• Analyzed the virtual size and worst-case boundary. Bio-Mechanical Analysis of a Manufacturing Plant - Academic Projects:

• The main objective is to reduce the internal pressure and work force and to increase the output by some biological analysis. The main software which we use to analyze is owako working analysis system (OWAS), and performance table.

• By adjusting the angle of performance, there will be deviation in the pressure in joints. Due to this, there will be less pressure in that joint. Through working in this action, we have calculated the time. EDUCATION:
