OBJECTIVE:

Reviewing New Hires interaction with each other at Reserved Meeting Conferences @ Senior Centers
(Jefferson Hwy. & Metairie Senior Center). Resolving Conflict when problems arose @ assigned Senior
Centers between Title V employee and Supervisor.
Also, reporting urgent office issues to immediate supervisor(s) when necessary.
Accomplishing working as a team unit with supervisor and co-workers.
Work Hours Preference: 8:30 AM until 2:30 PM or
9 AM until 3 PM
Preferred days of work: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday (3) or Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday (5)

Answer multi-line telephone to take Telephone Referrals on incoming clients. Thereafter, if client is eligible he/she paperwork is processed and scheduled to attend an orientation concerning the Title V Program. Type correspondence, create envelopes, and other documents for special project mail-outs to clients and businesses. Assist supervisor with daily tasks, and with special projects, if necessary. Also, assisted Supervisor with preparation of Personnel Files for review by Baton Rouge Supervisor (Yearly Audits).

Transferred to the Chief Administrative Office because I was promoted to the Executive Secretary classification. As of January 2004 I was promoted to the Administrative Specialist II classification. I answered incoming calls for Assistant Chief Administrative Officers Frank Serpas, Barbara Avalos, and Cary Grant. Typed outgoing correspondence to be sent to council members, department heads or outside agencies. Utilized the Dictaphone machine to transcribe tapes of meetings. Created files for the Assistant CAO that can be used as a reference (reading, active, interdepartmental, outgoing, resolutions, and ordinances). Also, assisted other supervisors and staff with special projects, if necessary.
