SQL: American Energy Market Regulator Case Study

Description: The American Energy Market Regulator (AEMR) dataset, obtained as an ms excel spreadsheet, consists of energy regulator information. The data was queried using SQL on Anaconda and the visualizations were designed using excel and powerpoint. AEMR is responsible for looking after the U.S. domestic energy network. It is responsible for resolving issues with the reliability and stability of America’s energy network with minimal outages.

Insights: The most common type of outage is the “Forced” kind, occurring a total of 1622 times in 2017 for an average duration time of 1144.09 minutes.

Tableau: ChemCorp_Sales_Data_Jan15_Dec15

Description: The data, stored as an ms excel spreadsheet, consists of revenue generated by 10 different chemicals sold by 7 individual business units. Data was uploaded onto tableau public, and visualizations were created.

Insights: The Paper and Packaging category outperformed the other 5 business units while the Medical Equipment category generated the least amount of revenue.

Tableau: Brain Stroke Prediction

Description: The data was obtained from Kaggle as an excel spreadsheet and uploaded to tableau public. Dashboard created using tableau visualizations. Data contains study on stroke risk factors.

Insights: Stroke risk can be prevented or reduced with treatment and lifestyle changes.
