I was also a Team Lead; I would help the supervisor in whatever she needed help with. I would also provide training for new hires or additional training for staff not meeting QA or production standards. I called insurance companies to see if the claim has been received, if the insurance companies needed any additional information, I would send information that they needed. I also reviewed adjustment request’s, medical records request’s & missing payment request’s that the PAR’s do the day before & send to my manager for review to send to the facility for requests.
Xtend Healthcare, Hendersonville, TN- 2001-Nov 2011. I was an Insurance AR Follow Up Rep. I called insurance companies to see if the claim was received and if they needed additional information, I would send what they needed. I also do weekly productivity reports that are sent to each facility each week. I send packages out to facilities for Rebill requests, Adjustments, EOB request, ect. for the facility to send back to us to send to insurance companies. I also do special projects that need to be done. I make copies of the EOB's that the facility sends to us and batch the zero pays for the collectors to work & see why the insurance did not pay on the claims. I worked all major payers.
W C Beeler- Hendersonville, TN- 2000-2001. I worked in customer
service, answering calls from hospitals and patients to check on the status of their payments to the facilities or physicians.
Cigna Healthcare- Nashville, TN- 1999-2000. I entered physician's claims in the system for them to be paid.
AAA Cooper Transportation- Lavergne, TN-1995-1999. I entered the claims for the freight that the drivers picked up during the day. Made copies for the dock hands to load the freight on other trailers to send to other terminals for the freight to be delivered. Received the claims back from the dock hands & got the trailer closed out for the linehaul driver to leave. I also answered the phone when the ladies up front went home for the day.
Humbolt Express- Nashville, TN- 1994-1995. I worked in the home office. We received by fax all the claims that all the terminals received & we would enter them all in the system and then transmitt to the terminals for destination.
Spartan Express- Nashville, TN-1993-1994. I worked in the front office, answering the phone, taking pick up information for pick ups, helping the sales representitives out with some of their work.
Globe Business Furniture- Hendersonville, TN- 1992-1993. I entered orders that the representitives on the floor took from customers for business furniture. I helped answer the phone & filed the work orders in the file room.
