Serve as primary point of contact for employees seeking guidance on all human resources issues and inquires.

Manage the recruiting process from start to finish by monitoring requisitions, implementing recruitment strategies, conducting phone screen interviews, partnering with department leads to determine staffing needs and conducting background checks.

Coordinate and present at new hire orientation ensuring new hires are properly onboarded including

I-9 verification.

Train teammates on the use of the company’s software programs (employee self-service, benefits enrollment, etc.)

Conduct exit interviews to identify reasons for employee termination.

Assist in the process of non-exempt HR documentation including benefits, attendance, vacation, time off request and corrective actions.

Preserve confidential information such as compensation data, disciplinary actions, terminations, performance reviews and much more with a high degree of integrity and judgement.

Administer and maintain FMLA paperwork, inclusive tracking leave of absence and Return-to-Work-Restriction processes.

Coordinate the administration of DOT random drug testing program, including quarterly distribution of random selection list, responding to questions and performing related activities.

Assist in event coordinating such as holiday parties, retirement celebrations, employee appreciation events, years of service recognitions, etc.

Maintain drug log and testing documentation in a timely manner per California and Federal standards.

Scan and index all HR files electronically with system data logging.

Support HR team with Rideshare program for state rebate programs.

Support HR Manager and HR Generalist as needed with additional administrative tasks.
