T-SQL / SSIS / SSRS Developer

I was responsible for delivering our core business solutions and participating on key architecture initiatives.

The Scope of the project is to develop a SQL Server based Global CostRate Application is solution developed to automate the calculation of hourly bill rates and cost rates which are required in the resource allocation process and ability to calculate and process direct and shared cost allocations as planned out to the countries/areas. The solution will help to plan certain elements in local currency which will convert to USD using current year planning rates.

Responsibilities:

●Involved in Planning, Defining and Designing database on business requirement and provided documentation.

●Created / updated / contributed to the living and breathing Solution Design Document (SDD) for Global CostRate application.

●Updated / Created various UML diagrams using MS Visio 2010 and embedded in SDD.

●Developed complex T-SQL 2012 code such as Stored Procedures, functions, triggers, Indexes and views for the application.

●Used SQL Profiler to monitor Server performance, debug T-SQL & slow running queries.

●Used Joins, correlated and non-correlated sub-queries for complex business queries involving multiple tables & calculations from different databases and Oracle Linked servers.

●Created many complex Stored Procedures/Functions and used them in Reports directly to generate reports on the fly.

●Worked on Agile Scrum Methodology and attended Sprint planning and estimation meetings

●Used SSIS to create ETL packages to Validate, Extract, Transform and Load data to Data Warehouse, Data Mart Databases and generate XML Files to be ingested in Hyperion PFP (Project Financial Planning) and HCP (Human Capital Planning) modules for banding based on cities.

●Created 21 different SSIS package of medium to high complexities for ETL by using Lookup, Fuzzy Lookup, Derived Columns, Condition Split, Term Extraction, Aggregate, Pivot Transformation,
