My career switch from hospital/clinical pharmacy to retail pharmacy occurred after my father was a victim of physician error in a hospital and passed away. It became increasingly difficult for me to work strictly in the hospital environment, and the switch to retail was refreshing. After nine years in retail I was ready to make a difference in hospital pharmacy again.
