Professional Experience:

Project Manager/ WASH Project

I worked with LASOONA as Project Manager in under Emergency WASH Project funded by WaterAid Pakistan in Tehsil Bahrain District Swat from September 2022 to May 2023. Being a Project Manager, my responsibilities were;

-Provide lead support in strategizing the project planning, implementation and monitoring plans.

-Orientation of the newly inducted staff and building their capacity through regular feedback and mentoring support.

-Effective management of human & other resources under the Project.

-Work closely with Program Managers livelihood, M&E, F&A and Executive Director for compliance with donor requirements and organization's policies in project implementation.

-Analyze budget of different activities, monthly/quarterly forecast, and monthly/quarterly financial follow-up related to the project and provide necessary support to the finance section.

-Conduct coordination meeting with line departments, relevant working groups, NGOs and INGOs working in the project area.

-Prepare monthly/mid and final narrative reports of the project by working closely with Program Managers Livelihood and P, M&E.

-Review progress and planning of the various components of the project and provide technical inputs to ensure timely completion of different interventions/tasks.

-Take lead in organizing donor visits and media liaison

-Facilitate interface with organization's head office and other field offices.

-Design, plan and manage the activities and their timely implementation according to financial frames.

-Provide technical oversight to ensure quality and stander of program implementation.

-Conduct staff appraisal and oversee performance.

-Provide strategic inputs in planning, implementation and reporting of M&E plan.

-Present the project regular updates in the management review meetings.

-Provide at least 70% of his/her official time to the field activities.

-Undertake any other responsibility relevant to his job description and assigned by the Executive Director.

Monitoring and Reporting

Monitoring and Evaluation Officer

I worked with LASOONA as Monitoring and Evaluation officer in WHH and EU funded project in District Swat and Shangla from Aug 2017 to Aug 2022. Being an M&E Officer, my major responsibilities under the project were;

-Monitoring and Reporting Officer will be responsible for monitoring field activities in-line with the project proposal, processes, the budget, the time-frame, regulations as per the partnership agreement.

-To support staff in planning, reviews and quality progress reporting to management, produce regular monitoring reports and document success stories

-To coordinate with relevant stakeholders including communities, LG, LAs and CSOs, regarding planning, monitoring and sustainability of project interventions as per project proposal

-To ensure all necessary programme documents are maintained and recorded properly at field office and PMU level

-To ensure smooth implementation of policies and code of conduct in respective project activities and ensure compliance with accountability mechanisms.

-To regularly coordinate with program team of head office including MER, Development, communication and implementation

Survey Supervisor/Team leader

Survey Supervisor/Team leader with Human dynamics (Public Sector Consultant) in midline surveys (20 July to 10 August 2017). Being a supervisor, led a team of 18 enumerators (women and men) in seven tehsils of District Swat.

Being a supervisor my JDs were;

-Visit identified projects (samples) and select appropriate beneficiary according to the methodology for the respective assessments

-Conducting interviews using the assessment tools advised

-Recognize and give an account of problems in obtaining data during the assessment and other challenges encountered, as to support evaluation of data collection mechanism.

-Submit competed tasks to the concerned M&E specialist and discuss developments daily.

-Conduct the interviews with courtesy and respect for the respondent, using the standard survey technique.

-Review the survey forms, correct mistakes and make sure that forms are complete

-Work in close collaboration with and report to the concerned M&E Specialist.

-Ensure compliance to the guidelines and instructions and instructions as explained/briefed during training.

-Ensure required members of beneficiary interviews on a daily basis.

-Maintain contact with the M&E Specialist, particularly on a daily basis to inform of any security concerns, problems in the field of any kind and progress made.

-Compare and discuss the results of the interviews with M&E Specialist, particularly to discuss during the interview with the respondent and before leaving the beneficiary.

-Be responsible for the validity, completeness and reliability of the data collected.

Project Manager

Project Manager, LASOONA WASH (PHPF) Project at FATA (Kurram Agency) from Dec 2016 to June 2017.

LASOONA in partnership with UNOCHA was implementing WASH project at Kurram Agency under the title “Provision of life saving WASH facilities in 10 village of Masozai Area of central Kurram, FATA”. I was been appointed as a project Manager my duties and Responsibilities were;

-Responsible for effective and efficient management of the project in line with the project proposal, Processes, Budget, Project time-frame and regulations as per donor agreement.

-Collaborated with Program Management in Head Office for the implementation of the project activities and sharing of updates to ensured Project Coordination, Networking & Visibility.

-Assist program management in monitoring, evaluation of the relevant project and quality progress reporting to donors by ensuring quality reporting by relevant staff

-To regularly monitor expenditure of project financial resources and use of assets as per approved budgets and agreements & provide regular, structured feedback to program management in monthly reports/weekly progress report.

-To coordinate capacity building support from donor, M&E, Finance, Logistics and security sections when required.

-To ensure all necessary programme documents are properly maintained and recorded properly at field level.

-To ensure smooth implementation of policies and code of conduct in respective project activities, in addition handling of beneficiaries and stakeholder s complaints.

-PM will be responsible for effective and efficient management of the project and staff in line with the project proposal, processes, the budget, the time-frame, and the donor’s regulations as per the partnership agreements.

LASOONA has been implementing a WASH project with technical and financial support of CONCERN Rapid Fund in District Shangla.

Job responsibilities were;

Being an M&E Officer my job responsibilities were;

- Monitor the overall project activities

- Ensure the quality and quantity of work at ground

- Development of Hygiene sessions plan

- Development of weekly and progress report

- Bi-weekly monitoring report generation

- Coordination meeting with line departments and other organization

- Community Response Mechanism (CRM) maintenance and redress

- Lead progress review meetings and meeting minute’s development

- Ensure timely supply of material to DWSS site

- Ensure timely reporting of data/information and pictorial evidence by closely working with project officers

- Provide regular inputs to improve the implementation strategies and maximization of the project impacts

Social Mobilization

Field Coordinator Social Mobilization (PATS Project) : 02 July, 2014 to 22 July 2016.

Sanitation Programme at Scale in Pakistan (SPSP) Phase-II

Worked with LASOONA as Field Coordinator Social Mobilization under UNICEF funded project at District Shangla, Tehsil Puran.

Major responsibilities were:

-Strategizing mobilization and capacity building interventions

-Attend external coordination meetings upon request from the Project Manager

-Provide technical support to field staff regarding social mobilization.

-Assist Project Manager in project regarding field interventions and ensure activities implementation according to plan.

-Ensure that lessons learned in the course of implementation are integrated into the DRR Project to ensure that it remains responsive and relevant.

-Ensure that program strategies are implemented in a coherent manner in the field;

-Work closely with CMs to ensure proper supervision of field teams;

-Ensure activities implementation as per logical sequence mentioned in PCA.

-Supervise field base capacity building activities and provide guidance to social team

-Ensure implementation of field base activities as per LASOONA and UNICEF guidelines.

-Prepare weekly work plan for project activities and ensure its implementation.

-Develop tools techniques and strategy for implementation of M&E plan

-Monitoring of various components of the project like public health promotion, Public Health Engineering etc.

-Ensure timely reporting of data/information and pictorial evidence by closely working with project officer

Worked as supervisor in a three months’ detail survey for Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR) & WASH project with technical and financial of Diakonie.
