Job Responsibilities :-
Responsible for job allocation and job flow in the workshop including job scheduling and labor allocation for day-to-day operations
Overall supervision of all staff related to Project PMV Workshop.
To act as a technical expert in the workshop advising staff on the tasks that needs to be accomplished
Responsible for all documentation and records related Tools, Equipment’s, and Vehicle’s mobilization & demobilization as per job site requirement.
Ensure all vehicles & equipment are serviced in accordance with the company’s standards & that pro-active planned maintenance is carried out continuously.
Ensure operational safety and compliance with environmental laws and regulations
Delegate daily duties and supervise all work being carried out by the workshop staff.
Control workshop tools and accessories inventory as well as keeping up to date with new technology tools that could be purchased by the company.
Identify skills gap and advise the management on areas to train the staff to improve technical knowledge and job performance of workshop staff.
To ensure workshop staff always wear protective clothing (PPEs) while in the workshop floor including all nonworkshop/technical staff
Ensure properly documented job cards with clear instructions are opened for every repair/service/rescue job to be undertaken by the workshop staff and that all required information on each job card is properly maintained in ERP.
Ensure vehicles & equipment’s are mechanically sound and available for test days and managements visits.
To install and maintain a strong health and safety culture amongst the Workshop team with a good understanding of risk assessments.
To ensure that the workshop housekeeping and operating practices are of a high standard and that special tools and equipment are well maintained.
Develop Service Level Agreements (SLA) with internal customers.
Establishing efficient processes and structures in order to optimize the usage of available resources and to ensure quality in the deliverables.
Prepare advance scheduled of preventive maintenance of all equipment’s & Vehicles available at project.
Prepare advance planning of required spare parts for preventive & Corrective maintenance.
Implement of Timely checking of all vehicles and equipment’s on daily, weekly and monthly basis as per company policy and schedule.
Hold of petty cash for emergency breakdowns repair on urgent biases.
Strategically plan and manage logistics, warehouse, transportation and customer service.
Arrange warehouse, catalog goods, plan routes and process shipments
Direct, optimize and coordinate full order cycle..
Keep track of quality, stock levels, delivery times, transport costs and efficiency.
Liaise and negotiate with suppliers’ manufacturers, retails and consumers.
Resolve any arising problems or complaints.
Arranging tool box meeting every morning with rigger, operators and site foremen for explain the day today activities for safe work.
The riggers, the Crane Operator and any other person involved in the lift are familiar with and follow the safe system of work and the details and limitations recorded in the lifting plan.
Tower Crane Operators working hours do not exceed the operating criteria,
Crane Operators are suitably trained and competent (if not informs Crane Co-coordinator and Section Manager).
The safe working load (SWL) is never exceeded, other than for the express purpose of testing a crane under the supervision of a competent person. There are no exceptions to this.
Cranes do not operate in any weather conditions that exceed the limit stated for that type of crane.
A suitable and sufficient risk assessment has been carried out, which considers all aspects of the lift including environmental factors such as the proximity of obstructions, underground services, overhead cables and structures.
Lift plans and method statements for the lifting operation and developed as appropriate.
Appropriate protection measures are put in place.
A current thorough examination and/or test record has been issued and is available for each item of lifting equipment and accessory.
The SWL of the lifting equipment and accessories is adequate for the weight of the load
All lifting accessories are clearly marked with their safe working load.
Correct and up-to-date copies of the Sling Chart and Safe Working Load tables are available, when using multi-leg slings.
The method of communication is agreed and understood by everyone involved in the lift.
A suitable rack is available for storing slings, etc. when they are not in use.
A trained and competent rigger is available.
Preparing time sheet for equipment’s and workers.
Arranging equipment time sheet daily and short listed for end of month.
Pre pare time sheet for workers including operators and riggers.
