DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
To rechecks food items, beverages, general supplies and operating equipment Delivered from the Receiving Section to ensure conformance with quantity and quality specifications.
To inspects daily all fresh food items stored to determine possibilities of spoilage and segregate those for priority issuance.
To updates stock cards on all items in the storeroom, seeing to it that the prescribed par stock is maintained.
To ensure quality and safety of processed products
To ensure Physical methods of food preservation .e.g, dehydration, refrigeration, freezing and Storage are under Control.
To maintains an orderly and functional arrangement of all items in the store room.
To prepare inventory of all items in the storeroom.
To prepare purchase requests in the right time according to maximum & minimum stock level.
To ensure a favourable working atmosphere is maintained for the personnel working in the store.
To organize and arrange merchandise according to items characteristics and set standards, and tag newly arrived and/ or returned items as instructed.
To receive merchandise and count it physically and electronically in order to ensure accuracy of information and to ensure they are according to internal invoices and meeting quality standard.
To inspect the quality of the received products looking for damaged or wrong items and report discrepancies to the store manager or department head.
To check the log book for opening the store after operation hours.
To ensure that all requisitions issued had been signed by the authorize person before issue and after Delivery.
To check the chiller and freezer temperature.
