Skills & Abilities

MANAGEMENT

Worked through the management trainee program with Enterprise Rent-A-Car where the purpose is to train individuals and give the tools to become a Branch Manager and higher within the company. This role taught me the importance of working with a team and effectively communicate with my coworker in order to run a lucrative and efficient business.

SALES

With my experience at Enterprise as well as KEMBA Financial Credit Union, customer service was in the forefront of the business, sales was a close second. I not only met the sales goals for each company, I exceeded them. At Enterprise I was on the “fast track” to becoming management due to consistently exceeding the sales goals each month. I was responsible for the growth of the Westerville branch as well as developing my team and getting them promoted as well. Working with KEMBA I also exceeded my sales goals, even when it was tough during the pandemic. COMMUNICATION

Effective communication is very important in every business and knowing how to communicate with your coworkers is just as important. Over the years I’ve had the opportunity to work with I variety of people, from different backgrounds to different age groups. Actions speak louder than words and I believe that leading by example will create a ripple effect in the work environment as well as the comradery of the work space.

Management of customer service and operations.

Use initiative, independent judgement, discretion, and decision-making skills to perform a variety of duties and solve problems. Some examples include: approving rate deviations, approving extensions of rental tickets without deposits or where customer is delinquent, determining when to retrieve cars if customers are overdue, approving rentals for drivers under 25, approving cash deposit rental requests, and approving write-offs.

Manage overall branch operations in absence of and/ or request of the branch manager.

Supervise, mentor, train, coach, evaluate and develop staff.

Develop, plan and actively participate in branch sales marketing efforts to increase and improve business.

Manage branch receivables, including negotiating payment plans, collecting difficult accounts receivables, preparing write-offs for uncollectible accounts, and recommending accounts for referral to collection.
