Present Job: Working as freelancer in Mumbai: Inspection, QMS Audit and QMS Implementation.
A- From May 2012 to February 2021.
With Kuwait Oil Company, Kuwait as Inspection Engineer. Major Responsibility: Review of documents (ITP, Procedures, GA Drawings for pressure vessel, piping, storage tank etc.), Review of Material test certificates, conduct VPIM at vendors location, QMS Audit at project sites & Vendors workshop. Arrange inspector at project sites, attend weekly
& monthly progress meeting etc.
Attend annual shutdown works inspection activities at KOC GC’s : -
- (Identify/verify the shutdown tie-in location as per the approved P&ID.
- Witness tie-in joint bevel DP test.
- Witness Tie-in joint location UT scanning and accept the location for cutting for tie- in work.
- Inspect Tie-in joint Fit up, weld visual inspection, RT, Final PT, etc.
- Ensure all piping spools, valves are hydro tested (valve shop ) as per the contract requirement.
- Mechanical walk down (with P&ID, GAD) after completion of shut down activity before proceed for nitrogen purging.
- Nitrogen purging for the concerned system shall be ensured and leak tightness for all flanged joints shall be ensured.
