Hall County Government HUMAN RESOURCES COORDINATOR 08/2022- 07/2023

●Creates and maintains personnel records for new hires, terminations, benefits enrollment and termination, keeping records current with compliance.

●Coordinates position control, assuring there are always vacant and budgeted positions to support new hires: prepares staff tracking report to inform management of departmental variances from the budget, based on headcount.

●Monitors the timely return of performance evaluations and salary increases from County departments to Human Resources to affect merit increases.

●Sends reminders to departments of upcoming evaluation dates and maintains follow up system to assure all evaluations are completed.

●Researches and resolves issues regarding employee pay to assure payment of accurate salary.

●Coordinates with Benefits and department staff to track medical and military leave to assure employees are in correct status as to active duty.

●Performs various administrative support work for special projects such as researching and analyzing information and coordinating tasks; prepares accounting and statistical tables, reports, resolutions, and contracts; maintains departmental records, indexes and logs.

●Assists in preparation of departmental operating budget; performs financial analysis and may advise management on expenditures and budget control matters; performs all phases of purchasing to include preparing purchase requisitions, and ordering supplies and materials to maintain adequate inventory; disburses and maintains departmental petty cash funds.
