After finishing Erection and Automation work of New Knits Processing Machinery,I was assigned the task of Maintenance and Trouble shooting of machines.Uptill now I have got a very good experience of troubleshooting of machines including Mechanical,Electrical or any other programming issues.I also communicate with the foriegn service engineers of the of all the above mentioned machines. I recently worked on automation work of Lawer Automatic Dispensing System with two Italian service Engineers for which I got an appreciation certificate from Lawer .

Investigation of Hybrid(Solar+Instant) Geyser Jan 2016 - Dec 2016 (11 months) Company: NED University of Engineering and Technology / Mubbashir Ali Siddiqui Tools: Flat Plate Collectors,Tank-Less Gas Heater,Storage Tank. Objective:
To fabricate a Hybrid Geyser which uses Solar and Tank-Less gas heating system simultaneously for hot water supply. Introduction:
Hot water requirements in winter season is quite high and conventional gas heaters are used to heat water. Natural gas has a calorific value of 973.02BTU and conventional as heaters does not effectively utilize it. Calculations reveal that almost 1.73*10^14 KW of energy is recieved from the Sun by the Earth's surface. By utilizing solar energy as a heating source for water and natural gas heater as an auxiliary we can save both natural gas and cost. Design Specifications:
Calculations were based on a family of six people living in Karachi whoms required water was 600 liters per day. Flat Plate collector of area 3 square meter .
150 liters storage tank .
Tank-Less gas heater with a flow rate of 6liters/min. Required hot water temperatura 50 degree centigrade. Related Equation:
The energy gained by flat plate collector from incident radiations is calculate by following equation: Qu=Ac[S-UL(Tpm-Ta)]
Qu is the useful energy gained by collector
Ac is the area of flat plate collector
S is the incident solar radiation
UL is overall loss coefficient
Tpm is the mean plate temperature
Ta is the ambient temperature
Working:
Cold water is taken from the bottom of storage tank which recieves water from main tank.Collector will heat the water depending on heat recieved by absorber plates from the sun.Hot water will be taken from top of stotage tank and will pass on to the tap through auxiliary(instant gas) heater.In auxiliary heater we have incorporated 2 sensing mechanisms i-e Flow and Temperature(LM35 sensor) detector.If the hot water passing through auxiliary heater has temperature less than desired temperature which here is 50 degree centigrade the detector will turn on the heater.When the tap is closed flow detector will switch off the heater. Sofwares Used:
ARDUINO UNO (For measuring temperature at different points in the pipes) TRNSYS (For simulation of entire heating process)
Unigraphics NX (for CAD modeling of components)
