WORK EXPERIENCE

Laboratory of Composite Materials and Mineral Clays (LMCMA) National Center for Research in Materials Science (CNRSM) During my master internship under the supervision of the assistant master Sameh ATTIA, I acquired a wide range of skills in the field of composites. My research activities are mainly focused on the synthesis and the study of the physicochemical and thermal properties of composites. After their characterization, this composite has been submitted to mechanical tests. Laboratory of Composite Materials and Mineral Clays (LMCMA) National Center for Research in Materials Science (CNRSM) During my thesis, We focused on the valorization of plastic wastes and especially the wastes formed by PET. In a first step, we focused on chemical recycling by alkaline hydrolysis to form terephthalic acid which is subsequently applied in the synthesis of MOF, in a second step the energetic recycling was performed by several methods, while varying: the type of activation

(physical or chemical), the ratio in weight percentage (w%) of PET:KOH, and the precursor Mechanical recycling was also studied to compare it with the other two types of recycling studied previously.

Departamento de Quimica

Universitade de Evora

During these internships I acquired a wide range of skills in the field of waste recovery, we were able to optimize the conditions for the synthesis of activated carbon from waste water bottles. We also. Learned and mastered the use of horizontal and vertical furnace. The work studied the performance of our samples (activated carbon) using them as adsorbent of MCPA and 2,4-D, sulfamethoxezole and trimethoprim, methylene blue and methyl orange herbicides antibiotics and colorants in the field of water treatment.
