To the hiring manager:
This letter is in regards to Mario Jacobs. I have worked with Mario since
March of 2022 and I have been consistently impressed with his work ethics, determination to succeed, and devotion to his job. In a time where hard working and dependable employees are becoming increasingly more difficult to find, Mario is a cut above the rest.
Mario started in our Shipping department and quickly proved himself as a hard working and reliable employee. He started branching out and learned how to line load, how to run the Tamper, and became forklift certified with us as well. This left him flexible enough to operate in any area of our shipping department. Mario regularly filled in operating the Tamper for me, allowing me more flexibility as a Lead to assist with problems throughout the Shipping department and the rest of the warehouse without having to stop the department from shipping product out.
After a few months, Mario expressed an interest in learning more. He was taught how to do cycle-counting (inventory), how to do consolidations within the warehouse, and started learning the operations on the Receiving side of the warehouse, as well as Picking. Overall, every month he was with us he learned a new task and became a more versatile addition to our team. I was quite sad to see him have to leave.
Mario Jacobs comes to you with my greatest recommendations. His abilities, drive, determination, and positive attitude with everything he does will be a valuable asset to any team. If he was to return to the Portland area, I would work to secure Mario a position with our company under any situation.
Thank You,
Justin VanBuskirk
