Nationally Registered Certified Medical Assistant /Clinical Coordinator I perform varies of duties based on the Medical Facilities such as, Private Clinics, Hospitals, Dr. Offices, Outpatient clinics, State and Federal Prison Facilities w/ Security Clearance updated, Diagnostic laboratories.

Currently have experience and skills in many areas during time of employment I obtain, basic health measures of vital signs, such as blood pressure, pulse, oxygen level,respiration rate, and temperature.

I have had the opportunity to work with many medical facilities of different diversities within my 17years with UTMB.

Administrative duties include answering telephones, intakes of new patients, and following up on former patients. Register of check in, discharge, reschedule, or redirect to another medical department. Update and file documents in the EMR --electronic medical records system, patient health information (PHI) follow up on sick calls complaints, handle correspondences of documents in epic, schedule appointments arrange pre-op surgery, tele-health, hospitals appointments and help laboratory services with daily lab draws. I’m ready to further my career within a new medical family. I can assist with training, and work well with others, and have a passion for medical field responsibilities. I would like to say, in my years of working in the medical field I have had to opportunity to work with wonderful medical co-workers as a large family. Looking forward to working with many more in the upcoming future.
