POSITION: Driver
LOCATION:Delta, British Columbia
LEVEL:Individual Contributor
DESCRIPTION:
Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor, the Delivery Driver will deliver beer throughout the Lower Mainland and provide excellent customer service. Hourly rate: $32.76 per hour.
Key Responsibilities Include:
Deliver beer (kegs and packaged) to and pick up empties from licensee accounts (heavy lifting is required)
Organize and load a trailer according to a specific delivery schedule
Securing contents to avoid damage or breakage to our products during transport
Fill out necessary reports and documentation as required, in accordance with Company procedures and government regulations
Maintain a clean and safe vehicle and report any vehicle deficiencies to Manager
Load and unload delivery trucks as required
Perform all assigned duties in a safe, efficient, and productive manner
Other warehouse duties as required
Requirements:
Minimum age of 19 years
Minimum 3 years' delivery driver experience
Valid Class 1 or 3 driver's license with air brake endorsement; a Class 1 license would be considered an asset
Must provide a clean driver's abstract
Customer service/delivery experience an asset
Outgoing personality with the ability to develop positive customer relationships
Dedication to customer service
Physically fit and able to perform repetitive heavy lifting
Daily keg (approx. 140 lbs) total may exceed 50
Strong organizational/time management skills
Knowledge of beer dispensing system an asset
Willing to work shift work and some overtime as required
