RE: Lubna Yaghmour

To Whom It May Concern,

It is my pleasure to write a letter of recommendation for Lubna Yaghmour As a cooperating classroom teacher, I have had the opportunity to observe her growth as a dedicated educator during the fall semester 2018.

As a pre-student teacher at a Title I and Focus School, with a diverse student population, Lubna was very resourceful in her approach to meeting the needs of all students by adjusting and differentiating her instruction. Lubna not only taught the curriculum, but used technology and engaging student activities to increase student interest. In addition to skilled planning, her organization, ability to set routine, and firm but flexible classroom management style kept disciplinary issues from disrupting the learning environment.

Throughout her time at Bryant Middle School, Lubna displayed and developed a positive rapport with both students and staff. She was also an avid supporter of the school’s P.B.I.S. (Positive Behavior Intervention Strategies).

Hard work, commitment, and teamwork are terms that best describe Lubna. She is a prepared and highly effective student teacher.

Sincerely,

Lynda M. Mualem

To whom it may concern,

During the 2017-2018 school year I had the pleasure of working with Lubna Yaghmour in our AVID classroom. Ms. Yaghmour worked as a tutor twice a week from 8am-12pm. During this time Ms. Yaghmour worked in small groups with our 7th and 8th grade students. Her responsibilities were to monitor each group, helping them with questions dealing with their core subject work. She also worked in assessing the learning of each student within her group.

My time with Ms. Yaghmour was positive. She was a reliable coworker and displayed effective management skills within her small groups. Based on my time working with her, I believe Ms. Yaghmour would be well-suited for a classroom position.
