As you will note from my resume, I have worked as a Process Technician and Subject Matter Expert – Assembly, for Corning Incorporated for over 20 years. I currently support the Optical Fiber and Cable department in Corning’s Optical Communications Division in North Carolina. My Photonics experience has allowed me to do assembly/rework of optical amplifiers, as well as gain valuable manufacturing knowledge. Being a Group Leader has allowed me to spread my knowledge of samples processing and shipping throughout my group. Over the last 6 years I have expanded my knowledge into the manufacture of optical cables.
I have also started a side business to pursue my real passion in construction/ carpentry and this business has exploded with growth. This venture grew from my earlier experiences in residential construction.
