Consultant: HILL INTERNATIONAL / COSTVEYORS/Pro mag. Position: ASSISTANT ENGINEER OFFICE AND SITE DOCUMENTATION ELECTRICAL Responsibilities:

● Perform Inspections and surveillance to ensure that work is performed as mentioned in the Project Quality Plan, codes, specifications, drawings, procedures and contract.

● Conduct inspections for all electrical material deliveries.

● Ensure that the required documentation/records are generated, maintained and include the details of all inspections / surveillance performed.

● Conduct testing of LV Panels

● Interact cross-functionally with project team members and management.

● Ensure that the required material documentation is as per design specification.

● Provide input to Project Quality Management reports.

● Understand Contract and Subcontractor(s) Contract Requirements

● Assist with review of project specific quality procedures, inspection and test plans.

● Ensure that all works are carried out as per the approved method statements and drawings.

● Preparing inspection Requests (IR) and Conduct inspections With Consultant on site.

● Review request for information (RFI) and implementation on the site.

● Generate NCR, SOR, and MIR when required.

● Follow the HSE requirements applicable at site work scope.

● Check the drawings and documents used at site for approvals and compliance with project requirements.

● Review and maintain spare part lists for all Electrical equipment.

● Ensure that all equipment used are calibrated and with valid certificates.

● Ensures compliance of Electrical equipment and installations with applicable standards.

● Preparation of testing and commissioning method of statements in coordination with vendors, Sub Contractor representatives.

● Assist / coordinate the preparation of the final handing over documents such as QC/QA documents, testing and commissioning reports etc.

● To check shop drawings and correct to suit as per specification and client requirements.

● To check and approve all samples of electrical as per particular specification of project.

● To control quality of work as per specification of contract document.

● To certify billing of various Sub contractors as per actual work done at site.

● Manages directly and provides engineering and technical support to all the electrical work groups at site.

● Plans the execution of all electrical related works at site.

● Update monthly actual progress on M.S.

● Submit site daily reports on a regular basis or as required.

● Assign targets for accomplishments and ensure targets are met on a daily basis for all electrical maintenance works.

● Project Supervision, Dealing with the sub-contractor.

● Assistant Engineer with almost (Emaar Reef and Panorama Tower DHA Phase 8 Karachi) site experience in basic design requirements, estimation, installation and all site activities related to electrical works for construction of large-scale building projects. Familiar with all the electrical engineering methodologies as well as the materials, tools and manpower allocations related to electrical works for building projects and executing electrical related drawings.
