Main responsibilities:

Prepare receipt all the WFP food and non-food items and Inspection Report against any signs of infestation;

Provide guidance for cooperating partners on WFP operational practices, monitoring tools and methods in order to support them to complete self-monitoring tasks and to contribute to the visibility of WFP in the coverage areas

Report on the quality, quantity of the received commodities;

Maintain clean and pest-free storing conditions;

Ensure good warehousing practices;

Supervise the off-loading and stacking of the commodities;

Make periodic physical inventory checks;

Report on and, in consultation with others, take appropriate action for the disposal of spoilt commodities;

Provide overall supervision and training of other storekeepers and casual laborers;

Perform any other official duties as required by the Logistics Assistant, Senior Logistics Assistant.

Prepare timely and accurate daily/weekly/monthly reports;
