• Create requisitions for proto-type parts, parts that need immediate attention that have the potential of shutting down the lines.

• Review Red Line, Parts Problem and Negative MRP reports to identify potential part shortages and take corrective action, to ensure production is not delayed.

• Update Critical Issues and Vendor Operational logs with anything of significance that will hinder the production and or appearance of the finished product.

• Review expedited and de-expedited reports to ensure inventory follows the “just-in-time” inventory model.

• Work with the Parts Quality team, and Vendor Account Rep to discover the root cause of a part being rejected by our Parts Quality team, and determine the necessary action to take to correct the issue at hand.

• Reconcile invoices as required.

• Request quotes and determine which vendor will be the best fit for a unit. Could be based on cost, lead times, weather ability, or any other host of factors.

• Conduct supplier visits once a year or more per supplier to show support and work on any opportunities that may be affecting Kubota’s supply chain. This can include conducting. a Kaizen efficiency audit.
