About Fifteen years of gulf experience in HSE in different construction industries including Micro Tunneling in both Tubli and Diyar projects, Deep Gravity Sewerage, Primary Infrastructures, High Rise buildings, overhead power lines shut down, Oil wells & Gas Wells Upstream Pipelines modification and upgrading, refinery shut downs, Oil & Gas Mechanical, Electrical and Civil works, handling wide range of responsibilities including implementation of company HSE Policy, preparing HSE Plan, Environmental Plan

Professional Responsibilities & Skills

Comply with company HSE Policy, Project HSE Plan, procedures and legal requirements on site and ensure proactive implementation to reduce accident/incident

Preparing and reviewing development of the project Health, Safety and Environment plan.

Play a role in promoting HSE at the workplace to ensure continuous improvement.

Establish control and preventive measures to provide maximum risk free environment for workers.

Carry out HSE audits/inspections on site to check the status and effectiveness of system and Equipments.

Lead team on daily, weekly inspection and loss prevention inspection and checking site conditions.

Ensure easy accessible to protective Equipments as part of safety measures.

Advising on Environmental restoration and management of Hazardous and non hazardous wastes (waste management).

Conducting meetings with subcontractors and consultants, workforce, staffs on weekly and monthly basis. Prepare minutes of meetings.

Initiate and conduct accident investigations and prepare job accident reports.

Review any corrective actions recommended for eliminating or minimizing incident causes.

Conduct periodical inspection of facilities, machinery, vehicles, Equipments, tools, tackles and firefighting Equipments at the project site to ensure the validity of them and to ensure compliance with regulations.

Conduct HSE induction training for all new project staffs, workers and visitors on project.

Provide training in safety practices to site staffs and workers.

Improve HSE awareness among all employees using standard training aid such as videos, posters, films, handouts, General Weekly Tool box talks, etc.

Analyze risk and hazards associated with construction activities and preparing Risk Assessments for those activities as per submitted Method Statement.

Monitoring and advising sub contractors and other employees to maintain and following safe system of works.

Preparation of emergency response procedures as required in the project.

Prepare and implement emergency response procedure and conduct regular evacuation drills on site.

Advise the relevant cautionary instructions, signs and symbols to be displayed in the prominent Places within site and offices buildings.

Establish and develop first aid facilities on project sites and maintain records.

Develop, Implement and monitor Permit to Work System.

Monitor Confined Space activities on tank, vessel, chamber, pipes, shafts and tunnel works, etc.

Review lifting plan, monitor lifting activities and advise on non conformances.

Coordinating all Permit requirements to Ministry of Works office for project confined spaces works including the very critical and mandatory requirements for Micro Tunneling works. Computer Skills
