Senior Quality Manager responsible for demonstrating tools, techniques and processes to implement and maintain world-class quality management practices to support production of next generation water infrastructure products. These products are critical to providing clean and safe drinking water to communities across North America. Manu- facturing methods include foundry, machining, powder coating, assembly and other external processes. Responsible for quality management of all internal processes and purchased components used to manufacture our state-of-the-art iron gate valves. This includes working with and supporting the Quality Team to maintain and continuously improve the effectiveness of Mueller's Quality Management System. Reporting directly to the Plant Manager and lead a team of Quality Engineers and Technicians. Responsible for the development of supplier systems in the US. Primary Responsibilities

Lead the Quality Team to sustain the plant Quality Management System and develop the QMS in new areas and for new or improved value streams.

Serve as the liaison between the sales organization, end-use customers, manufacturing, and product engi- neering to resolve issues and manage claims.

Developing supplier audit certification through the entire US Lead the team of Quality Engineers in problem solving with Lean Six Sigma tools and projects. Manage activities related ISO Certifications, Recertification's, and Non-conformance reviews to ensure Chattanooga Plant’s QMS conformance to ISO 9001:2015 standards. Manage the internal audit function.

Develop and execute corrective action plans.

Support 3rd party audits, witness testing of product and QMS reviews at the Cleveland Plant. Drive standard utilization, maintenance, and continuous improvement of Corrective Action Reporting, tracking, & closure.
