- Chatbot: Build chatbot for our customer (techcombank, bidv, vnvc). We create a pretrained language model for Vietnamese (the datasets we use are English datasets for some tasks like summarization, QA, paraphrase and are translated using google translate api) using Bartpho-word model. The system combines 2 part: retrieval module (BM25 + semantic search) and writer module

(finetuned Bartpho-word model). Use ctranslate2 to quantize the writer module to speed up the inference speed and decrease the vRAM GPU required.

- Keyphrase extraction: Using tf-idf, ner, pos tagging and KeyBert model to extract keyphrase from documents

- Machine translation: finetune model (m2m100, mBart) for translating from some languages (Malay, Indo, Filipino, Russian, Laos) to Vietnamese --> all the finetuned model have BLEU score over 40 and can translate well. After that, I used a library called CTranslate2 to convert all the finetuned model to a lighter format that can make inference more quickly.

- Paraphrase:

+ Noise remover: finetune Bart-base (for English) and Bartpho (for Vietnamese) to remove noise from the document retrieved from news data.

+ Paraphrase meaning: finetune Bart-base (for English) and Bartpho

(for Vietnamese) to paraphrase a paragraph. The data used for finetuning are extracted from an API (using Selenium). The finetuned model can be used to augment data for other tasks like summarization

- Text summarization: conduct extensive research on both extractive and abstractive text summarization techniques and evaluate the advantages and disadvantages of each method BK AI, Research Assistant
