I have been in the medical field since 2004 .I was most recently employed at Labor. As a phlebotomist. I perform all opening and closing duties at the site identical to my duties at Quest. When employed with Quest Diagnostics. My duties include opening, maintaining morning check lists and temperature logs, processing specimens, front desk, accessioning paperwork prior to blood draws, phlebotomy, performing drug tests, ordering supplies, maintaining safety logs and closing duties.
Prior to this I worked with Exam One a Quest Diagnostics subsidiary doing a variety of services. I work as a paramedical examiner performing insurance physicals that included collecting blood, urine, health questioners, physical measurements and electrocardiograms. I have worked as an lead examiner at Wellness Events doing both standard blood draws and POCT finger stick with the Cholestech LDX .For Exam One, I also perform Dot: hair, u/a, oral fluid & Bat drug testing. During this time I did scheduled and on call testing in conjunction with Employer Solutions

Prior to becoming a phlebotomist I worked as a Veterinary technician /assistant working in the front office and in the back office doing both customer service and animal care.
While working as a pre-k teacher I was responsible for both the schedule and developing and implementing developmentally appropriate lesson plans, milestone evaluations and parent conferences for a variety of ages. I am qualified to care for both infant toddler and special needs children
