HR Manager/Safety – Nov. 2017 - Present (Plant is 130,000 sq. feet, 155 FTE, 41 Temps, 5 shifts)

Responsible for all employee relations concerns, EEOC investigations, policy creation as well as implementation, performance reviews, compensation, recruiting, benefits, payroll, safety and training. Support a staff of 18 department managers. Other duties are listed below. I am the sole HR employee for both Baxter and Hi-Tech for all HR and Safety matters.

Process all weekly payroll and make changes as needed for both Baxter and Hi-Tech Mold SC.

Developed employee handbooks for all hourly associates based on Federal and SC State laws.

Conduct all on-boarding/ job fairs and recruiting for both plants. Set-up all personnel files and maintaing updated data on each employee.

Monitor benefits for both companies based on geographical area – to stay competitive.

Updated all Job Descriptions for both plants.

Developed Standards of Conduct based on the Mission and Vision of both companies.

Maintaining and Auditing all personnel files, I-9 files, medical files, Safety and Training files.

Conducting training on various safety topics, auditing all payroll data and workers’ comp data.

Implementing a new payroll system this year (2023)

Responsible for all ER concerns and policy management/EEOC/FMLA/ADA/WC

This plant was built in 2017, therefore I have been the only one to staff both plants as a start-up facility.

HR & Safety Manager - May 2105 – Nov. 2017 (Plant is 130,000 sq. feet, 125 FTE, 35 Temps, 3 shifts)

Responsible for all employee relations concerns, EEOC investigations, policy creation as well as implementation, performance reviews, compensation, recruiting, benefits, payroll, safety and training. Support a staff of 7 department managers. Other duties are listed below.

Process all weekly/monthly payroll and make changes as needed

Imperial Die Casting - Liberty, SC - November 2012 to March 2015 – Manufacture Aluminum Parts

(Plant is 115,000 sq. ft, 120 FTE, 25 Temps, 3 shifts)

Responsibilities

• Responsible for all employee relations matters, EEOC investigations, payroll, safety and training for 215

employees across three shifts.

• Policy development and implementation for plant

• Support a team of 8 managers and 12 supervisors with employee concerns as well as policy guidelines.

• Computer efficient with Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Email and ADP

• Responsible for all recruiting hiring as well as conducting off-site job fairs.

• Maintain all safety records as well as OSHA logs

Accomplishments

Have updated all job descriptions from 1999 to include new duties and computer programs needed for each position.

Developed an OJT training program with monies credited back to the company from the State.

Developed a performance a merit program for all hourly employees.

Implemented a Safety Committee with awards to employees on a monthly basis.

Upgraded our ADP payroll system to allow mobile access
