Resume:

COVER LETTER FOR LARISSA MOORE

Dear Hiring Manager,

I am an experienced Business Administrator and Procurement Agent/Buyer seeking an opportunity at your company.

I have a strong track record and am looking forward to bringing my skills and abilities to the team.

I am a positive and energetic person who was the lead trainer for my department and created a training program and lead to writing of the training department that was absent from their team for years. The committee was called the Buyer Certification Team and it took us a total of three (3) years to write documentation, create training videos, and develop a new hire checklist for the new buyers and continue to educate the team on standardization of best practices to ensure we had strong, engaged, knowledgeable team members who knew how to execute our service standards to our customers and internal stakeholders.

As Material Manager for the Outpatient Surgery unit, I worked with my director to introduce NEW PRODUCTS & TECHNOLOGY to the hospital system by vetting products and equipment for changes needed to ensure better patient outcomes with white paper review by our Revenue Management and Surgical Physicians New Product and Technology review board committee.

I was also on the founding Event Planning Committee to help the department with planning team events to ensure the team knew we considered them to be part of our department family. In 2020, we received the first LOVE ME SERVICE STANDARD AWARD that was companywide recognition, for demonstrating our care for our team members.

The experience I have gained in my career has prepared me well to succeed in a management role. I am well-versed in administrative systems and have demonstrated competencies in strong communication skills, highly organized and team leader. I will provide comprehensive office leadership and support while boosting productivity and operational efficiency.

In reference to the gap in employment shown on my resume, I capitalized on an opportunity to travel to gain new experiences, foster personal development, and bring a renewed perspective to my field of study. This period of travel allowed me to build strong connections with other individuals and cultures, which has cultivated new growth and a better understanding of my future goals.

Please look at my enclosed resume for more details about my work experience and qualifications. I'd really like to speak with you more about the position, and I look forward to hearing from you soon.

Warm regards,

Larissa Moore
