Ashley Mashava

Born on the 13th of January 1987 at 1900hrs, a member of the male species who is creative and vibrant in all aspects of branding, design for exhibition, advertising and marketing, event management and public speaking A married, young Zimbabwean with the English, Ndebele and Shona language content, trained as a commercial designer currently based in Zimbabwe, with over five years’ experience in the field and related design and brand development advisory tentacles of the creative industry. Having been a member of The Rotaract Club since the year 2012, served as Community Services Director with the club working with The Heal Bulawayo campaign that encompasses the rehabilitation of home care giving facilities that have deteriorated within the city, and in that run worked with the John Smale children’s home within the city in a plan to get the corporate world involved in taking care of the various needs within the home being namely food and hygiene needs, structural renovations and career guidance programs with the children.

At that same time being a member of The Project 60, a youth organization that seeks to empower the society through various, available resources that will bring a positive shift in the mindset of the society thereby bringing a change in the quality of life within the youthful generation of the city and nation as a whole. Having trained with the Bulawayo Polytechnic, Institution of Art and Design to acquire a National Certificate in Applied Art and Design, Bulawayo Polytechnic main to acquire a National Foundation Certificate in Building and Woodwork Drawing and Design, and trained under Deseret International to become an HIV/AIDS Facilitator and Diploma in Web Design and Online Marketing. With over 5 years’ experience in the field of combined design (architectural and graphic), consultancy services for different companies and organisations, encompassing the conceptualization of exhibition design and brand development campaigns.
