Lead Medical Assistant, Omni Medical Clinic (Apopka, FL) Responsible for administrative and clinical tasks such as:

• Recording and maintaining Medical Records and contact information in patient files, scheduling patient appointments, processing referrals, follow documentation process related to hospitals, pharmacies, and specialists.

• Lead a group of 13 -20 people from 3 divisions; responsible for safety, quality management, provide training to other employees, create performance reports, participate in leader meetings to strategize plans for operation and production improvements, time management, workflow process.

• Set the team’s daily production targets to ensure that customer orders with the most approximate due dates are prioritized. Lead team meetings to inform operators about new announcements or change of direction, share tips for performance improvement, encourage operator feedback and ideas, provide production status overview, recognize employee achievements.

• Took the initiative to develop a project to reduce WIP times for more efficient production floor processes. The recommendations that were implemented resulted in an improvement of throughput from an average of 350 to 550 units per operator. The recommended flow changes and system updates eliminated the need for the data entry operator in test, resulting in an additional person contributing to production.

• Inspect units to determine if quality standards are met. Validate data entry for sequence and accuracy, ensuring that all operations have been performed and documented as required. Identify false deficiencies produced by test equipment or deficiencies induced during handling. Examine test outputs and steps recorded to determine appropriate routing of units. Report impact of unit components that are out of stock and route units to Awaiting Parts section. December 2014 – October 2015
