Employment details:

1.Kurdistan Pipeline Company, Erbil: Kurdistan Pipeline Company Pte. Ltd. is a joint venture of ROSENEFT Middle East Pte. Ltd. and KAR Pipelines Ltd. KPC serves for transporting crude oil from Kurdistan Region of Iraq to Turkey for international export.

Designation: Head - Process from July 2018 to Till Date.

Project Handling:

I.36’’ Crude oil cross country pipeline (600,000 barrels per day-400 km pipeline)- Ministry of Natural Resource, Erbil.

Selection of process engineers, Training to the process & operation team leaders & engineers.

Lead to process engineer team in order to Check design outputs prepared by Process Engineers to ensure accuracy and completeness of the activities.

Review & approval for Process Flow Diagrams and Piping and Instrument Diagrams- As built for crude oil transportation via various oil pumping stations connected to crude oil pipelines from International Oil Companies of Iraq to Petroleum Pipeline Corporation, Turkey.

Review of Mass balance for six different modes of operation crude oil export.

Simulation check for selection of crude oil transfer mode on Stoner pipeline software.

Crude oil export pump selection considering the various parameters along with technical bid evaluation for the offers received from various vendors.

Review & approval for equipment specifications such as for pig trap launcher & pig trap receiver, crude oil export pumps, thermal relief valves, control valves, flow meter etc.

Review & approval for New Pig launcher /receiver, New fiscal Metering skids (Coriolis), Drain system etc. P&ID’s.

Review & approval for Thermal Relief Valve calculations, pipeline steady state calculation.

Participation of HAZOP, HAZID & SIL.

Review of operation & control philosophy for all five major stations such as KPS0, KPS1, KPS2, RETM, FKMS.

Monthly Availability & Deemed availability calculation report considering the actual technical condition of Crude oil pipelines including all line sections connected to main 36’’ pipeline considering the pressure constraint at final destination in Turkey.

Review of technical norms required for performing availability as per KPC procedures & standard practices.

Communication with Ministry of Natural Resource, Erbil for monthly, quarterly & annual shutdown plans.

Communication with International oil companies for operational changes, In line inspection activities, pigging operations etc.
