EDUCATION
In addition to business expectations of its employees, I was also entrusted to uphold work ethics in a place of operation that include different people and
personalities, which I believe, is another vital factor of being an excellent employee
•
Like any other entity, ANZ Guam Inc dba Amerika Samoa value excellent customer service and confidentiality
•
As an employee, I was expected, and delivered
exemplarily, to uphold all rules put in place by the entity or anyone they see fit (supervisors, managers, interim, etc.)
•
Included amongst these important rules are keeping the business and our customer's information confidential
•
This was we can earn our client's trust, setting a fine foundation for what we like to call customer service, or in any case, excellent customer service
•
Like any other employment, I had my fair share of
challenges at every job I've had, which I will take the liberty of talking about: The different types of people and their opinions about how I work based off of their frustration with work procedures and the line of power, held by owners of businesses, or whom they put in
charge to compensate for their absence
•
For example, if you don't pay adamant attention during trainings at work, you may be slower than normal (which isn't a bad thing, might I add
•
Some procedures require more time than others, and progress is important.) at getting certain tasks done
•
Another factor to take into consideration is the
technology used for simple operation, which isn't always state of the art
•
It's easier to press someone down for doing their job when you have an outsider point of view, because you aren't the one who has to deal with the technology and the bank process put in place by FDIC, or other rules
•
Which brings us to the million dollar question: "How do you deal with it professionally?" While people may vary and ideas may vary even more, one thing remains true: no one fully understands what the other is going through
•
And though most do not believe in God or the
establishment on religion, the Bible gives so many excellent advice on how to deal with others and come to a conclusion that promotes compromise
•

The Bible contains a scripture that promotes human equality: Matthew 7:12- "All things, therefore, that you want men to do to you, you also must do to them
•
This, in fact, is what the Law and the prophets mean."
(English Reference Bible of the New World Translation)
•
Though customers may often forget that employee's go through their own personal load, we should never be, or act, ingenuous so as to forget that the whole reason for the outburst is because they, too, have their burdens to carry
•
With that in mind, I try my best to keep my cool with customers who lose theirs, and try my utmost to give every customer/person I encounter the best customer service they've ever experienced, and this has been my motto since entering the employment field.

•
Fraud that often occurs for clients I've dealt with include: puppy fraud, which is fraud that results from people paying for false advertisements on adopting dogs, only to invest money and never get the dog, amongst a lot others
•

•
I was also tasked to operate systems such as Excel, Word and completing PowerPoint presentations
•
A challenge I faced while working at Wells Fargo was finding the motivation to keep doing what I was doing as a fraud specialist
•
This job required full attention, but as does everyone else, we also have personal lives outside of work
•
When dealing with pressure from both sides of life, you tend to lose sight of why you do what you do
•
However, I had to teach myself to separate my work life from my personal life, and after finally getting the hang of it, I was able to regain motivation and finish strong.
•
Reviewed reports and individual transactions which appeared suspicious to uncover possible fraudulent activity.
•
Analyzed large amounts of data to find patterns of fraud and anomalies.

•
While it was a nice touch to attend sport events while working, a challenge I really had to overcome was being comfortable enough to start conversations with new people; people I work with, as well as the customers I'm bound to serve
•
However, I remember the feeling of accomplishment
when I'd speak to a customer, get a glimpse of what they like and sell to them the item on the menu that would appear most appealing to them based on the data I've gotten by observing
