Duties and Responsibilities:

Execute all duties and responsibilities of the cargo agent.

Execute department administrative responsibilities.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Read and process manifests, flight schedules, documents to determine items to be broken down, moved, gathered, palletized, containerized, part shipped and transshipped.

Read and process manifests, flight schedules, airway bills and any other shipping document that relates to imports.

Check and tally and house cargo for proper piece count, weight, and documents as appropriate.

Execute Permit To Remove (PTRs) for various shipments and be the contact personnel for ALL courier Companies in Trinidad and Tobago.

Handle all interline shipments, process all documents and system updates for the transfer for airline to airline.

Report all interferences or tampering of freight/or observations of interferences or possible tampering of freights orally, written (via paper and email copies).

Execute correct and timely declarations to the various government authorities. Maintain a respectful collaboration with aerodrome authorities.

Ensure the different airline systems are updated and reflecting accurate information.

Ensure that cargo is loaded and unloaded on a timely basis.

Communicate effectively with employees and all customers, shippers and all airline customers both local and international.

Execute effective and accurate reports during and after shifts.
