Product 1: webTrader

Description:

OATI webTrader allows users to focus on trading and increasing revenues and not have to worry about time-consuming — yet necessary — behind-the-scenes work. The OATI webTrader energy trading and risk management solution makes this possible by automating actions such as removing redundant data and leveraging smart analytics to search for higher-margin trades. OATI webTrader is a front-to-back-office solution that provides both financial and physical trading throughout North America. Product 2: webSupport

Description:

OATI webSupport: The system is designed for OATI customers and OATI employees. It allows Customer to open tickets for the issues which they are facing in their product (webTrader, webTrans, webContract, webOMS, webPipeline etc.). That is the major product through which OATI’s internal data is managed like employee login – logout, Problems on which developers are working, Problem Status, Internet Access, Tasks, Issues and Tickets etc.

Product 3: webTrans

Description:

OATI webTrans: This relates to the transmission of Energy. There’s is different module for each of the Market and the customer. This is the USA energy markets on which we have to provide support. There are direct client interactions to resolve their issues and all type of technical problems.

Product 4: Start Scenario Builder

Description:

OATI Start Scenario Builder: This is an automation tool made by OATI itself. The basic task in this is to make scripts in XML. So that for testing purpose, we may use them late on. Still it’s in implementation phase. For this, I acted as a liaison between client & development team. For this to be implemented Mapping the deliveries of the development as per the client’s requirement.

Product 5: webSmart OASIS

Description:

Web Smart OASIS: This word stands for the “Open access same time information Services”. The older version is getting changed to the new version based on its GUI and new added functionalities. Handled this project from the initial phase and responsible for primary contact with customers and all groups within the organization for this project, understanding the client requirements, defining the project plan, accordingly, basically to verify the performance of new Version and trying making it more versatile.

Responsibilities:

-Managing all the track of problems/tickets related to a particular product/project.

-To create test cases/scenarios for development and testing teams.

-Interaction with Customers on regular basis.

-Handling all systems set up and Module creation.

-Updating tasks as well as customer issues with proper comments and documents with dates to keep track of progress.

-To manage resources to perform User acceptance testing in the later stage of the product development and to track their performance.

-To create Change Orders per customers requirements.

-Reviewing, analyzing the Customer requirements/issues against system to determine the customer requirements and opening corresponding new customer variance/change order in OATI’s Problem Reporting Tool (PRT).

-Detecting Software failure so that defect may be discovered and corrected.

-Working on OATI’s Problem Reporting Tool for capturing Tickets, Issues, Tasks and Problems etc.

-Writing Detailed Test Cases, identifying clear and concise steps to be taken by the other Testers with expected outcomes.

-Performing User Acceptance Testing, Unit Testing, System Testing, White-box testing

-Working on XMLs and creating scripts.

-Develop and document the application test plan based on software requirements and technical specifications.

-Keeping record of bugs against requirement and performing bug regression testing once issue gets fixed.
