DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Preparation for receiving clients from different unit routine admission. Efficient in cardiac pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR). Evaluating and modifying the plan of care based on observable responsible by the clients goals. Monitoring the arterial blood gas analysis.

Preparation and assisting for inserting central lines, suturing and suture removal, pacing wire removal, pleural tapping, ryles tube insertion, wound dressing and catheterization. Preparation and administration of medicines, injections and intravenous infusion of blood and blood products. Attending personal hygiene of the clients.

Preparing the clients for various investigations like PFT, TEE, MRI/CT Scan, ECHO, Carotid Doppler, Bronchoscopy, Ultrasonography and Endoscopy.

ROUTINE FUNCTIONS:

Care of pre-post-operative patients.

Total care of patients.

Assisting in Doctor’s rounds and procedures.

Care of equipments.

Collection of specimens.

Cleanness and sterility of the unit.

Admission and discharge procedures.

Health education and rehabilitation.

Managing of sorts of emergencies.

Resuscitation

Overall management of unit.

FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES (GENERAL):

Providing nursing care of the patients.
