Dear Sir or Madam:
I am a very driven and competitive individual. That being said, I am also a very kind, patient, creative, and helpful person. We all need a little help at some point. I find that coaching, role play, and assistance is extremely fulfilling when you are a part of someone motivated to reach their goals and dreams. I love a challenge and will go above and beyond to ensure my clients/customers/patients/friends are happy and healthy. I work well with others, and I am very comfortable on my own with little to no supervision. I have worked remotely or from a home office for several years, but I am open to discussion and am looking forward to rejoining the workforce inside and/or outside the home, if the position is right. While in school or at work, I would save a file, document, or project as a “WIP” with the date. Just as the file I saved, I feel that we are all a “WORK IN PROGRESS.” I strongly believe that we are not entitled to the life we have been given. We are all here as a blessing, and we have a purpose. I want to lay my head down at night, knowing that I am in some way or somehow, making a difference in this world. We all matter...so don't wait for change...be the change!
If you are looking for a hardworking, honest, and loyal person with morals, ethics, and integrity…that is me. I don’t just use those qualities when working, I live by them every day. I was raised to work hard, give more than I take, and always be thankful.
I do my best to keep up with the most up to date trends and technology.
I strive to be better today than I was yesterday.
While personal recognition is nice, I truly enjoy helping others.
Our world is ever evolving; our minds should be too.
I have attached my resume for your review. I hope that my skill set is what you are looking for, and I hope to expand my knowledge by being part of your team. There is always something new to learn as we strive to be our best. Thank you for your time and consideration. I look forward to hearing from you soon.
Best regards,
Genevieve “GG” Ashley

INTRODUCTION
I am 43 years old, an independent woman, with no biological children. In my life I have worked multiple jobs at a time while attending High School, Community College, and University. College can definitely educate you, but I feel that the time you spend in the workforce is what prepares you for success. When my Dad became ill, I knew that I was needed at our family business. I took a transfer from Starkville, MS to Corinth, MS. At that time, I was still responsible for the State of Mississippi and North Louisiana with 14 Major Cities and required to be on site once per month. I do not regret leaving college because my family needed me. I DO believe that after over 5 years of college coursework balanced with 25 years of real life, hands-on job experience, I am more prepared than if I had graduated with a degree and no experience. I have been working from home in a fully functioning office for several years now. I enjoy being part of a team, but I work extremely well unsupervised and have an excellent work ethic. All of my work has been with Fortune 500 Companies. For the most part the companies I have worked for from home are strictly independent contract positions. Working outside the home is definitely interesting, and an option for me, but I am not opposed to continuing to work in a Virtual/Remote/Telecommute/Work at Home position either. I am looking for a full-time, part-time, and/or long-term position with a company that is a good fit for my skill set, allows for educational and technological growth, and a place I can call “HOME.”

The knowledge and hands on experience I obtained during the four years I worked for North Mississippi Vascular Center was incredible. 1994 was the Grand Opening for Red Lobster of Tupelo. Throughout my time there I learned life skills that are still ingrained in my today. Customer Service, Equality, and Dedication are just a few of those skills. Just because you treat people with courtesy and respect, doesn't mean they will treat you the same. I am grateful for the opportunity I was given to learn from a wonder General Manager and Single Mother.

INTERESTS
● I have 3 children and they all have four paws! Nonetheless, I love them all as much as I would if they were human! I am very passionate about my work with animals in need. I often foster and/or adopt senior, special needs, and rescue animals.
● Alzheimer’s Disease is very close to my heart. I, as well as, other family members have been through the heartbreak it can cause on a personal and professional level.
● I have tutored and worked with mentorship programs teaching high school students basic life skills. It is a very humbling experience when you are working with students that will not graduate with a high school diploma. Encouraging them and preparing them to graduate with a Certificate of Completion, which allows them to attend a Trade or Vocational School is an eye-opening experience because many of them do not know how to begin. Statistically, most of them come from single parent homes, multi-generational homes, and have parents that are incarcerated. Teaching them how to fill out job applications, student aide forms, basic math skills, and even how to manage money is very fulfilling. It most certainly warms my heart to see young people learn, grow, overcome disabilities, and thrive as productive citizens.
● I have worked for a Construction Company specializing in bridge replacement, crane operations, and most importantly state aide jobs. The Company, Buddy Ayers Construction is a family owned and operated business in Corinth, MS. I worked there for over a year, caring for his Father who had Alzheimer’s Disease, as well as, Office Management, and Onsite recordkeeping including photographs. I was very busy while there due to the amount of jobs we took on. I took bids for materials, labor, etc.
