EXPERIENCE:

February 2020 to January 2023: BAE Systems, Louisville, KY; defense procurement.

I worked for BAE Systems as a Senior Procurement Analyst within Weapon Systems of a Platform & Services Sector. In this position I was responsible for all procurement & sourcing activities required to assure continuity of supply for Operations, including direct, indirect (MRO) & prototype items. My activities included sourcing, request for proposals & quotes, analyzing costs & the ability to write a price and/or cost analysis, leading negotiations, and placing compliant purchase orders in Oracle according to internal procedures & FAR (Federal Acquisition Regulations)/DFAR (Defense Federal Acquisition Regs).

Planned component inventory for ceiling fans, fire dampers and air-duct system access doors, resulting in improved inventory turns for over 130 components and steel sizes.

Scheduled the highest volume (7,000 pieces per day) filter grill line.

Scheduled die machines for filter grill production of three brands and 211 part numbers.

Scheduling done with Excel / AS400 interface & BPCS ERP system. Created dispatch for filter grill faces from other facilities. Coordinated production with work-cells and pack-lines.

Purchased over 7,000 different automotive service-parts for the Beck/Arnley Worldparts brand, and scheduled clutch-set kits packaging with Access.

Managed increase in spend responsibility from $30 to $38 million annually due to staff reduction.
