I am currently the Occupational Health Nurse for the company and oversee all functions of Health Services. I am responsible for coordination and execution of all health and wellness programs/services to associates to enhance morale, health and well-being, as well as productivity. I coordinate, conduct and lead educational programs, health screenings and wellness related events from start to finish, creating positive, measurable outcomes while developing and maintaining good relationships across all levels in the enterprise. I ensure safety and compliance with OSHA conducting required screenings and trainings. I maintain the highest levels of EQ when coaching associates, identifying problems and solutions, and evaluating the effectiveness of, and the need for new procedures.

BrightStar Care – January 2016 – March 2018

I held the position of Director of Nursing, administering and coordinating clinical services and programs for home health clients. Directly supervising nurses and STNA’s as their manager and responsible for the day-to-day clinical operations.

The Christ Hospital – August 2005 – March 2019

I worked on a 38-bed cardiac step-down unit with adult and geriatric patients who were status post cardiac catheterization, cardiac open-heart surgery, left ventricular assist devices, pacemaker placement, congestive heart failure and associated co-morbidities, as well as other post procedural overflow. I assisted physicians and other team members in bedside procedures, ensuring patient advocacy and safety. During many years of this position, I was an active preceptor for student nurses and other counsels and committees that focused on better outcomes of patient care.

The last year of my employment with The Christ Hospital, I worked as a case manager on a post-surgical floor where I arranged for equipment needed at home and placement for rehab and short-term care facilities.
