the billing specialist went on maternity leave, and I was asked to fill her position, which I truly enjoyed and excelled.

At Prairie Oral Surgery, I was the billing specialist. Therefore, I filed all insurance claims, posted all payments, worked up all Prior Authorizations for upcoming surgical procedures, made deposits, worked the A/R, etc. I also covered for the receptionist when gone.
