Duties, Accomplishments and Related Skills:

Serves as an equipment specialist for the Tactical Operations Center (TOC) located at Ft. Polk, La and assigned region. Provides on-site technical and maintenance assistance, analyzes complex technical problems, and provides training to site operations and maintenance personnel. Repairs and maintain specialized test sets and fixtures required to support the TOC. Provides maintenance and supply support to all Standard Integrated Command Post System (SICPS) platforms, such as analysis of primary and auxiliary power systems, power and data cabling, environmental control systems (ECU's), interfaces of communications/computer equipment and grounding procedures. Participates in daily scheduled meetings and briefings concerning ASC, AMC, FORSCOM, National Guard/Reserve Commanders, JRTC Commanders, BLST Chief, and associated commands in reference to equipment daily status, during JRTC or MTC rotations at Ft. Polk, LA. Monitored the development of ASC support, field and sustainment maintenance, and materiel management integration missions regarding all AMCOM, CECOM and TYAD electronic equipment for JRTC Operations. Evaluated and assess Soldiers qualifications, strengths, and weaknesses within the first three days of operations and then tailors a class to meet the Soldiers expectation. Scheduled and attended meetings with personnel, on matters concerning general equipment and answered questions on the uses, properties and characteristics of equipment. Possessed skills needed for future training to include critical thinking, communication, interpersonal skills, computer and research skills. Communicated and worked closely with program manager, equipment developer, and project managers to assess and identify training needed for current and future employees.
